Gifts Discovery & Coaching

Discover what God has in mind for you

Each of us has a role to play in the place and situation God has created for us. What does God have in mind for you? Our customized workshops will help you discover your gifts and set clear goals around living in meaningful relationship with and service to God.

Classes and online sessions are available at various times throughout the year, and participants also have the option to use the online session materials for a self-study.

Classroom sessions

Sundays, Sept 25 - Oct 16

6-8 p.m., Room N205

Check out the workshops if you are:

  • Wanting a change in your life.
  • Curious about your unique strengths, gifts and personality.

About the workshops

Course Introduction

This session will guide participants through an overview of the course topics and introduce them to the themes in each of the classes.

Session 1: Understanding Personality
Discover and discuss your unique God-given personality and how it can help shape the direction of your life.

Session 2: Identifying Your Spiritual Gifts
Identify and discuss your unique spiritual gifts from God. What guidance can you take from them? Is God pointing you in a particular direction?

Session 3: Claiming the Strengths in Your Life
Identify the personal strengths with which God has blessed you and find how to best use them.

Session 4: Defining Passions & Values
Find out what passions and values God has placed in your heart, as well as what course you should follow.

Session 5: Writing a Mission Statement
Take time to pray and reflect on how God wants to work through your life while getting support on writing your own personal mission statement. It's the big picture, the "blueprint" for your life.

Session 6: Setting Goals
Share your personal mission statement, then use it to set goals on how to live the life God intended for you. Your goals define "how" you are going to live out your mission statement on a daily basis, to "do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

Session 7: Stepping Out in Faith to Serve
Share your mission and goals, and take time to reflect and pray. Overcome any fears or beliefs that may limit you from stepping out in faith to serve God.
