The mission of our women's ministry
is to lead women into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Special events, Bible studies, small groups, Women's Retreat - whatever your interest, we'd love to have you join us!

Bible study opportunities

What better way to spend time with other women than to gather over God's Word? Join us for Bible study!
To ensure adequate materials, pre-registration is encouraged for our Bible study groups.

Women in the Word: The Books of Ruth, Esther, 1 & 2 Timothy

Fridays, beginning Sept. 15 (September 2017-May 2018)
9:30-11:30 a.m., 2nd floor of North Wing
Join us for an interactive Bible study held at Calvary - this year's study on the books of Ruth, Esther, 1 & 2 Timothy. Focused on helping women grow more deeply in their love of Jesus, expand their knowledge of the Bible, and enjoy fellowship with each other. We are open to women of every age and stage of life. Kids in the Word is free child care offered for the children and grandchildren of women attending the class. Children focus on the same lesson while enjoying time to play. Join us Friday mornings 9:30-11:30. Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) The Book of Romans

Calvary hosts a Bible Study Fellowship class for women on Monday nights.  BSF is an in-depth, interdenominational Bible study that helps people know God and further equips them to effectively serve the Church throughout the world.  Women meet in small discussion groups for a portion of the morning and then all attend a lecture given by a Teaching Leader.  Find out more information about BSF at BSF International, or contact the BSF class coordinator  e-mail.

Circles

Small groups

Form meaningful relationships with other believing women who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ and life situations. Many existing groups like to add new members, or leadership training is available for those who wish to start a new small group. More on small groups>>

We offer several special interest groups that speak to women experiencing a certain life phase or interested in numerous pastimes. Find a group that's right for you!

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

MOPS® (Mothers of Preschoolers) is for mothers of children ages newborn through Kindergarten. MOPS meets 2nd and 4th Monday mornings during the school year... and for fun events all through the summer! Learn more>>

Serve in Women's Ministry

Women's ministry is built on volunteers. We are always looking for women to serve in various ways. We currently need:

  • Help for our special events: Planners, greeters, set-up, clean-up and ticket sales
  • Children's program helpers for Women in the Word - Friday Mornings
  • MOPPETS Volunteers: Assist in our children's rooms during MOPS meetings on 2nd and 4th Monday mornings
