We also invite you to a number of special events where you can experience prayer in a very personal and powerful way...
Saturday, Feb 9, 2019
9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., Room N205
Prayer is an important part of every Christian's life. Yet, many of us question whether our prayer lives are as effective as they could be. Many of us desire to have a prayer life that is powerful, dynamic and life-changing.
We often ask: How should we pray? How can I begin to hear God more fully? How can my prayers be more effective? How can my spouse and I grow deeper in our prayer life together? How might we be praying for our children & grandchildren? How do we teach our children to pray?
If any of those questions have been stirring in your heart, plan to attend this workshop. The workshop will be fun and lively, with a blend of Biblical teaching and hands-on learning. You will receive solid tools to "reignite" your prayer life!

1. a: to save; b: to heal; c: to deliver
2. to save a suffering one, to make well, heal, to deliver from penalties of Messianic judgement
What is Sozo?
Sozo is a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry (based at Bethel Church in Redding, CA) in which the main aim is to get to the root of those things hindering your personal connection with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Thus, with a healed connection with Father, Son and Holy Spirit you can walk in the destiny to which you have been called.

Prayer Warriors are men who stand on the front lines of what God is doing each weekend at Calvary! Guys, you are welcome whether you are already a seasoned Prayer Warrior or just getting started in prayer. The Prayer Warriors pray over the prayer cards that are collected on Thursdays and Sundays. No previous prayer experience necessary. We welcome all men who are interested in this ministry.
For more information, contact Pastor Carol Skjegstad by e-mail or at 763.231.2983.
"Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective"
If you or your family is in need of a personal prayer time, we are glad to arrange a prayer time that fits your schedule, including evenings and weekends. Many times families will gather for prayer prior to surgery or when facing a serious illness or situation. You can invite other family and friends to also attend. Our trained prayer ministers, along with Calvary pastors, are ready and able to come alongside you and pray over you.
For more information or if you would like to schedule a time of personal prayer for a family member, contact Pastor Carol Skjegstad by email or 763.231.2983
