Gifted to Serve

Throughout February and March, our message series will focus on the Spirit’s power when it comes to the specific gifts God has given us as individuals to fulfill His purposes. Then, beginning in April, we'll gather together to discover what our unique strengths and gifts are!

Do I have a spiritual gift?

You are a child of God, created for good works.  You have been grafted into His family through Jesus'blood.  His Holy Spirit is alive in you.  Every Christian has at least one spiritual gift:  "As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God"  (1 Peter 4:10 NASB).

What is a spiritual gift?

A spiritual gift is a special ability given by the Holy Spirit and distributed to each believer according to God's design and grace for the common good of the Body of Christ.  Spiritual gifts include teaching, administration, helping, mercy, encouragement, leadership and many others: "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.  There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.  There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all people" (1 Corinthians 12:4-6)

When you are living for Christ in the right place at the right time for the right reason, your faithfulness and fruitfulness will be overflowing!  You will be filled with joy, and God will be glorified!  You will be in God's holy anoited "zone!"

Gain more insight on your God-given calling and how to start fulfilling it now!  Join us for one or both of the following courses below.  (More class times/dates will be offered this summer & fall.)

StrengthsFinder Workshop

Cost for materials $20.

(NOTE: Pick up your book at the information center once you register.  In the back of the book there is a special code for you to be able to take the "on-line" strengths assessment.  Take this PRIOR to the class.
