Now in its 18th year, Calvary’s Holy Week Art Show returns with the theme “Art & Faith: The Beauty of Following Jesus.” All visual artists middle school age or older are encouraged to participate in the telling of Christ’s call in their lives, whether expressed through the making of art or in the message conveyed through art. Visual works may include photography, painting, drawing, sculpture and calligraphy using such media as oil, acrylic, watercolor, ceramic, metal, glass, textiles and wood. To participate, entrants must abide by the following art show policies:
- Individual exhibitors (Calvary members and Calvary friends) may display up to two entries.*
- Only artwork that is original and has not been in previous Calvary art exhibits will be displayed.
- Canvases must be dry, framed (or have painted edges) and wired for hanging.
- Hanging textiles must have a rod pocket sewn into the back across the top.
*Calvary reserves the right not to display an entry due to content and/or space limitations.
